Since the recent launch and introduction of the Xbox 360 Kinect console into the market, there's been a huge demand amongst gamers for this gaming peripheral. Here's a quick Xbox 360 Kinect review for the average gamer still hoping to acquire this latest innovation from Microsoft that's set to revolutionize your entire gaming experience.

The new Xbox Kinect gaming console add-on is a beauty to behold. When compared with its older version - the Xbox 360 4GB, the latest Xbox Kinect console is a sassier and sleeker design. It also comes with a great color - black which really tends to make it look more flamboyant.

This latest gaming console comes with an efficiently built movement sensor which shown at the video games advertising that really puts it in a class of its own. This console is quite sensitive to the body movements of the person playing it. To enter the game, all you have to do is walk somehow close to the screen of the game. This automatically puts your character into the game. You can then play or save your character in the game. The second advantage of this gaming peripheral is this: your movements can easily be replicated by all your character as the console has an inbuilt camera that's sensitive to any kind of movements. This is the basic concept behind the entire Kinect system and is a great feature of the Kinect.

But it's not 100% flawless though as a gamer has to stay about 4 - 5 feet away from the game screen for the camera to be able to read their movement. And in the case of two players, they have to both stay away from the screen - at least eight feet away for the camera to be able to properly tackle each of their movements.

In terms of its voice technology, the Kinect system is really interactive. The system will easily follow all your commands as listed out or programmed on the Xbox system. To activate the voice technology of the system and get it started, all you just have to do is stand in front of the system's gaming screen and say Xbox, if you don't say Xbox it won't work, and a lot of people doesn't know that, below is a short video showing a little bit how the voice recognition system works with Xbox Kinect.

You'll never want to use the voice technology system of the console again if you just take one quick look at the dashboard. The dashboard of the Xbox 360 Kinect is the Unique Selling Preposition (USP) of the entire console. This dashboard also comes in form of a very cool black design that has been loaded with lots of symbols and funny icons of all the gaming commands for the Xbox.

I know that by now you're already thinking of buying one of the gaming consoles of the brand new Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect. However there's a drawback, the price - the Xbox Kinect could be a deterrent for most gaming enthusiasts. The Xbox Kinect sensor + game can cost around 150$, if you want to buy the bundle, including the Xbox with a 250 GB hard Drive it costs around 500US$, but you could probably get it cheaper.
